Stephen Jass has spent his entire career making complex, important things simpler and safer for families — especially when it matters most.
From a young age, he showed the drive to solve problems for others. As a kid in Florida, he harvested mistletoe from the family tree, packaged it neatly, and convinced his mom to drive him to every local Christmas tree stand so he could sell it himself. That same entrepreneurial spirit — combined with a deep sense of responsibility — carried him through a BA in International Business and Trade from Florida Atlantic University (2011) and into the insurance world.
He started at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, then took a significant pay cut to help grow a second-generation insurance agency entering the life settlement market (think the “sell your life insurance policy” commercials). Over the next several years, he became a veteran operator of a nationwide general agency while also helping launch a life settlement investment group. In 2017, he stepped out on his own and founded Life Settlement Hub — the first fully digital e-application platform for life settlements. It made the often confusing and stressful process of selling a life insurance policy dramatically easier, more transparent, and more secure for policy owners and investors alike.
While building LS Hub, Stephen began seeing a much larger opportunity: seniors who wanted to stay independent at home but whose families worried constantly about unnoticed health changes. He realized that Remote Patient Monitoring could change that — not just by collecting data, but by combining reliable technology with genuine human care. He founded VitalGuard with a simple but powerful belief: do the right thing for patients and families first, and the business will follow.
Today, Stephen leads VitalGuard with the same customer-first mindset that has guided every venture. As the youngest of three boys who split his formative years between Canada and Florida, he brings both a practical, problem-solving approach and a deep appreciation for family, independence, and peace of mind.
When he’s not working, Stephen is usually with his own family in Mount Dora, Florida — the same community he now serves every day through VitalGuard.

Nathan Jass is a devoted husband, proud father of six, and the middle of three brothers who has always put faith and family first. A man of deep conviction and quiet strength, Nathan leads with integrity in everything he does — values that now guide VitalGuard’s technology and mission every single day.
Originally trained in music, Nathan transitioned into healthcare IT where he discovered his true calling: building elegant, reliable systems that solve real problems. Entirely self-taught as a full-stack developer, he has become an exceptional technologist known for his ability to see the simplest, most effective solution in even the most complex challenges. He co-founded Life Settlement Hub with his brother Stephen, where he designed and built the industry’s first fully digital e-application platform. He has since helped launch multiple successful SaaS companies, each one praised for its clean architecture, security, and scalability.
As VitalGuard’s CTO, Nathan ensures every line of code, every patient portal, and every piece of connected technology is best-in-class — secure, intuitive, and built to grow with the company for years to come. His work quietly powers the trust families place in VitalGuard: knowing their loved one’s health data is protected, the experience is simple, and the technology truly serves people, not the other way around.
